After 2 years of no travel; I decided to look for what I call a LifeDay" experience. For me; a LIFEDAY experience is something you do in one day that you will remember for a lifetime. After looking for options I decided to give West Coast Helicopters (WCH) a call to see if their services would be an option. If a trip were to be had it would be out of Nanaimo. I was directed to contact Andy Hatfield; pilot and operations manager for the WCH Nanaimo office. After contacting Andy; I knew that I had the RIGHT person to look after our needs. We could not have imagined a more memorable way to celebrate our wedding day with Andy (pilot and officiant). He was so great and took the stress out of wedding planning and provided us with a once in a lifetime experience, that we were not only able to share with a few of our closest friends, but also safely with our family in Ontario via Zoom. From the incredible flight itself, to the breath-taking views of Vancouver Island, every single moment of our day was magical.

Phenomenal company!! My husband and I booked an elopment package with West Coast Helicopters and had a spectacular wedding on top of Mount Cokely. Our pilot, Andy, went above and beyond from the moment we started communications, even attaining a wedding officiant licence so he could marry us!
